Hanscom Dog Park

A 2.1 acre off-leash dog area. The rolling landscape of the dog park is divided into three separate dog run areas. There is a .5 acre small dog area and two large dog areas, each on approximately .8 acres.

    Too bad most dog owners ruin Hanscom Dog Park… Dog owners do not obey the rules. Always large dogs on small dog side, nobody picks up poo, and since being a patron now for a year: I’ve personally witnessed 3 bloody dog attacks that required ER visits, animal abuse, and totally inconsiderate bully owners who think they own the park. The park could use a lot more frequent volunteers to clean it up and winterize it. I personally think dog parks need to be member only to get rid of all the jackasses who don’t play nice in the sandbox! We need more Dog parks in Omaha! Not good for small dogs…visitor Beware.
